Creel Magic Town
Creel is nestled high in the Sierra Madre Occidental, in the municipality of Bocoyna, boasts a beautiful main square formed by an Esplanade wooded with a simple kiosk and a monument to Enrique Creel, founder of the town. In the northeast corner of the square stands the Church of Christ the King together and neo-Gothic style to it, the Temple of our Lady of Lourdes, both simple constructions, but beautiful.
The Creel station, was founded in 1907 in what was a rancheria Rarámuri (real name of the Tarahumara) called Nariachi. This station is the first meeting with the sierra through the railway part of the city of Chihuahua and ending in Topolobampo Sinaloa port. This railway line, now known as Chihuahua-Pacific, was formerly known as railroad Kansas City, Mexico and orient and many years culminated in Creel, until in the Decade of the sixties their current line was completed by the Mexican Government.

To enjoy Creel we recommend rent a bicycle (with a price of 40 pesos for now) and explore the surroundings of the town, the landscapes are dreamy, between forest and areas inhabited by the Tarahumara. It is advisable to take the road to Valley of fungi, where you can appreciate various rocks with shapes. Also recommend you know the House and the Museum of handicrafts, which is the West side of the plaza and is dedicated to the indigenous culture of the region: the Rarámuri. Finally, it is also recommendable to climb the unique viewpoint of the village: the monument to Christ the King, which has a beautiful view.
Creel are remarkable seasons of the year, in winter it is common to see a beautiful snowy landscape, but at the beginning of the summer, the scene sometimes resembles a dry wasteland with cracked Earth. Both seasons have their peculiar beauty, at the end you will be who decide when visit this magical place.

Reach Creel is not complicated since it has roads in good condition, making it possible to visit this magical place. You can travel by bus or private car.
If you wish to transport you by bus from Chihuahua white star line or transport in the Northwest take you now that if you prefer to travel by car, take the road that goes to Cuauhtemoc city, located 100 kilometers away, from the city of Chihuahua once in Cuauhtemoc is walk the path towards station Lopez Mateos, known also as La Junta which is 50 kilometers from Cuauhtemoc, you then deflecting you to the village of San Juanito and kilometres later in the same direction you will find Creel.
