The oldest building in this magical town is the Mission of our Lady of Pilar. It is an elegant building constructed by the Jesuits and in whose interior you can see a representation of the Virgin of Pilar, dating back to the days in which the temple was raised. And even though the Church has been subject of multiple adjustments, still preserves its old and noble building projection.

To walk through the streets of Todos Santos, one stumbles upon continuous wonders among its various buildings of colonial court. Scattered among the streets, there are more than 20 art galleries, where creative domestic and overseas display their aesthetic proposals. It’s varied painters, sculptors and artists that are in the surroundings of Todos Santos, on that landscape where Ocean and desert is intertwined harmoniously with the sky, a source of inexhaustible inspiration.

At one point in the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th, the prosperity derived from the sugar cane business, led to the construction of notable buildings of Todos Santos. An example of this, we have it in the theatre General Manuel Márquez de León, which opened its doors in 1944. It is interesting to come to this theatrical venue and witness any staging, or simply admire its architectural peculiarities.

Aiming to learn in greater depth the history of the region, the most advisable is to pay a visit to the Centro Cultural Siglo XXI, which is located where once was the Normal School for rural teachers. This site includes five museums of small dimensions, that offer us valuable data about the town and the surrounding places.

There is also one of photography, an art gallery and much more. However, any trip that is carried out at all saints, will not be full if not through their wonderful beaches, which are located only 3 kilometres from the village. The most suggestive and fun are Punta Lobos, Batequito, Los Cerritos, La Pastora and San Pedrito. These beaches are ideal for surfing, whale watching and other marine animals and sport fishing.

How to reach All Saints Magic town
The town of Todos Santos is located 80 kilometers from the city of La Paz, in Baja California Sur. If you arrive by car, from La Paz, you have to take Highway 19. In the event that proceed from Cabo San Lucas, there follow the road 19 heading towards La Paz.

The most important festivities occurring at Todos Santos, take place, first, from 1 to 7 February, occurs when the Art Festival; then, the last week of this month, with the Festival of Reggae; in the first week of March, with the Festival of Latino cinema and on 12 October, because of the festivities, which include folk dances, equestrian competitions and different cultural events.
